Cannabidiol (CBD) is extracted from the Cannabis Sativa plant. It is the trichomes of the plant that CBD is usually extracted from. CBD is one out of over 100 phytocannabinoids identified in the hemp plant.
Cannabinoids are found in specific plants and naturally produced within the body. These compounds interact with our Endocannabinoid System to maintain and bring our bodies back to balance on a cellular-systematic level.

Phytocannabinoids are produced by plants, phyto meaning ‘plant derived’.

Endocannabinoids are produced naturally within the human body, endo meaning ‘found within’.
The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is a cell communication mechanism within the body. It is a complex system responsible for regulating a range of major body functions, including sleep, memory, reproduction, hunger, and mood.

The ECS is made to be self-sufficient with its’ production of its’ own cannabinoids, 2-AG and Anandamide, however, scientists are beginning to find out that the ECS can be supplemented with additional cannabinoids, like CBD, to optimize homeostasis.

When the ECS is out of balance, any system within the body can become compromised. Disruption may be caused by a range of things from diet, lifestyle, genetics, trauma, injury, toxins, and even daily stress. Our Phytocannabinoid-rich CBD products interact directly with the ECS by mimicking the effects of our endocannabinoids to support your body’s optimal functioning
Hemp and Marijuana both come from the cannabis sativa plant. The cannabis sativa plant is made up of different molecular structures and compounds known as cannabinoids. The two most common cannabinoids are THC and CBD. Any cannabis sativa plant that contains less than 0.3% THC, is known legally as hemp. Any cannabis sativa plant that contains more than 0.3% THC is known legally as marijuana.

To go one step further we look at products made from these plants. Any CBD product that comes from a hemp plant, grown under a state-supervised agriculture plan, is legal. Any CBD product that comes from a marijuana plant is only legal to be sold in dispensaries.
A phytocannabinoid is a cannabinoid produced naturally by plants. Phytocannabinoid rich hemp extract describes our CBD formulation. Our formulation is extracted from hemp grown on our family farms, and contains a high concentration of CBD along with trace amounts of other cannabinoids and terpenes.
Due to FDA guidelines we are unable to make claims about the potential benefits/side effects of using CBD. We suggest researching these topics online. If you decide to try CBD we are here to answer any questions you may have about using our products!
All of our products are verified THC-Free. CBD is non-intoxicating and will not cause a "high" feeling. We remove all trace amounts of THC during the purification process. Customers that are regularly drug-tested (such as professional athletes, active military, first-responders, etc.) are able to confidently use our trusted products. We provide up to date 3rd party lab test results that can be found here.

Pure Spectrum is the first and only cannabis company to partner with a National Governing Body: USA Weightlifting. WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) has the strictest drug testing protocols so it is crucial that professional athletes can take our trusted and high-quality CBD product.

When looking at our test results, you will notice 3 columns. The first column is the LOQ (Limit of Quantitation - that means the minimum amount that can be read on the test), the next two columns are the results for that product. We are vertically integrated, meaning we control every aspect of the process from genetics, planting seeds in the ground, all the way to finished goods. Our hemp is grown on American family farms, processed locally in Colorado, and shipped from our headquarters in the Rocky Mountains.

We use an ethanol extraction process as we find this to be cleaner and more sustainable for our scale, while best preserving the overall profile of the plant. All formulations are intensely purified to remove any and all trace amounts of THC while keeping other terpenes and natural plant oils from degrading.
All formulations are tested multiple times to ensure potency, quality, and the absence of contaminants. You can find our test results here, additional tests available upon request.

Our CBD Oil contains two ingredients: A phytocannabinoid (CBD) rich plant extract from organically cultivated hemp, and organic MCT oil. Organic MCT oil is fractionated coconut oil.

We use organic MCT (Medium Chain Triglyceride) oil for better absorption, added benefits, and longer-lasting effects. Click here for more info about why we choose to use MCT oil.
Most customers start by using our CBD oil daily, adding our Isolate and topicals as needed. The regular strength 500mg CBD oil and extra strength 1250mg CBD oil are both a great place to start.

Most customers start out using 1-2 full droppers daily, holding the servings under the tongue for 30-60 seconds before swallowing; some prefer to wash down with water afterwards.

CBD has a cumulative effect so best results will come with consistent usage, therefore we highly recommend using CBD as a daily supplement. It can take up to a month or so of consistent use to get built up in our bodies.

Everybody processes CBD differently, so you will need to play around with serving size, frequency, and time of day to see what works best for you!

If you find that you are using more than 2 full droppers daily, it may be a more economical choice to try a larger size or higher strength CBD oil.
Pure Spectrum is our flagship line of CBD oils, available in 4 different sizes and varying strengths. Pure Spectrum CBD oils use organic MCT oil as the carrier, combined with our phytocannabinoid-rich hemp extract.

Black Label is currently our most potent line of CBD oils, containing approximately 83 mg of CBD per 1 ML serving. Black Label is made with organic MCT oil as the carrier.

1850 Hemp Co. is formulated with the same great quality phytocannabinoid-rich hemp extract, but instead of MCT oil, the carrier oil is Hemp Seed Oil. 1850 Elixirs are offered in the same strengths and sizes as our Pure Spectrum CBD oils.

The different carrier oils each provide a unique flavor profile and their own benefits:

Hemp seed oil is great for heart, bone and skin health, as well as digestion! It contains calcium, zinc, and omegas and has an earthy, somewhat nutty flavor.

MCT oil is smooth and tasteless, and can provide a natural energy boost as well as mental clarity. MCT oil is also great for brain health!
Every batch will vary slightly in smell, taste, color, and texture as our formulation uses a natural plant extract. We strive to create a pure, mild flavored product as we understand not all customers enjoy the earthy taste of hemp.

Each batch is rigorously tested from raw material to finished product. You can find the batch number and expiration dates printed on the bottom of each box to compare to test results posted on our website, here.
Pure Spectrum and Black Label Cannabidiol oils have an expiration date of 18 months from production.

1850 Hemp Co. Elixirs have an expiration date of 14 months from production. CBD oils are intended to be used within 30-60 days once opened and will last much longer when stored as recommended.

Store upright in a cool, dry, dark place such as a cabinet, away from heat and exposure to direct sunlight. It is not recommended to store CBD oil in the refrigerator.

Avoid touching the dropper to your mouth as this can encourage bacteria growth.
Make sure you are taking your CBD consistently, especially when starting out. CBD oil is most efficiently absorbed by holding under the tongue for 30-60 seconds before swallowing.

If you find that you are using two or more 1ml servings daily, you may want to try a higher strength formulation, either our extra strength 1250/2500mg or Black Label high potency CBD oils.

Our gummies are a convenient and delicious way to get your daily serving of CBD! They work similarly to the CBD oil as both these products are taken orally.

The gummies come in four all-natural flavors, conveniently pre-portioned out with 25 mg of CBD in each.

As with all CBD taken orally, it can take a few weeks or longer to build up in our bodies. Play around with serving size, time of day and frequency to find what works best for you!
Gummies have an expiration date of 12 months from production. Gummies are intended to be used within 30-60 days, but will not degrade in potency.

To maintain freshness, store tightly sealed in a cool dark cabinet. Exposing the Gummies to air may cause the gummies to harden in texture.
Our gummies are made and colored with all-natural ingredients which may cause the taste and coloration to vary slightly between batches.

Although the gummies may stick together in their packaging, they have not lost efficacy and should be easy to separate and enjoy! Warm temperatures are typically what cause this, so it is recommended to keep the gummies stored at room temperature in a cool dark place.

We also recommend receiving your package from the mail as soon as possible during warm weather seasons to help prevent this from happening.

Our soft gels are a convenient way to keep your daily serving of CBD consistent. They work similarly to our CBD oils and gummies as all of these products are taken orally.

They’re tasteless and easy to swallow, containing 30mg of Cannabidiol in a pre-portioned gel capsule. Great to grab n’ go!

As with all CBD taken orally, it can take a few weeks or longer to build up in our bodies. Play around with serving size, time of day and frequency to find what works best for you!
Our soft gels have an expiration date of 24 months from production. The soft gels are a very stable vehicle for our phytocannabinoid rich hemp extract, and when stored properly they will maintain quality and freshness. Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry, dark place, away from direct sunlight.

CBD isolate is the purest form of CBD available and comes in a powdered form which makes it our fastest-acting and most versatile product!

Our CBD isolate can be used in multiple ways:
- Taken orally by placing a small scoop under the tongue and allowing it to sit there for 30-60 seconds before swallowing; some customers prefer to wash down with water afterward or add a serving of tincture under the tongue to help dissolve the isolate faster. The size of your scoop can vary depending on the relief you are searching for. Start small (around the size of a pencil eraser) and work up from there as necessary! There is no harm in taking as much as you desire.
- Added to your favorite hot beverage, smoothie, oatmeal, baking recipe, etc.
- Added to your favorite skin/body/hair care product
- Mixed with a food-grade oil of your choice to make a homemade CBD oil
Hold the container flat between your palms, apply pressure and twist to release the lid of the container; the lid should twist and pop off!

Be sure to keep your hands still to avoid spilling the contents.
Our CBD Isolate has an expiration date of 24 months from production. You can find when your isolate was produced by referring to our test results.

Isolate is very stable and will maintain freshness and quality longer when stored properly.

It is recommended to store tightly sealed, in a cool dark place and out of direct sunlight. Exposure to light and oxygen may result in yellowing.

Lotions and creams are water-based, whereas salves are oil-based. The difference mostly comes down to individual preference.

Water-based lotions and creams will absorb quickly, with a soft consistency that is gentle on sensitive skin. Oil-based salves will stay on the skin longer, allowing them to be massaged thoroughly over an area.
The texture and consistency of our topicals may slightly vary between batches as our formulation contains natural ingredients and plant extracts.

When exposed to excessive heat, salves may melt but will re-solidify with no damage to the potency or quality of ingredients.
The roll-on is a convenient hands-free topical with quality ingredients that aid in absorption and help our formulation to penetrate through the many layers of our skin. 

Massaging the topical into the skin after application is not necessary, but applying pressure can help further relieve tension that is held deep in the muscle tissue.
All of our topicals are good for 24 months after production. You can view when your topical was produced/manufactured by viewing our test results.

When stored properly, topicals will maintain potency and consistency and can last even longer. Topicals should be stored tightly sealed, standing upright in room temperature and away from direct sunlight.

Endopet CBD oils are formulated with phytocannabinoid-rich hemp extract and organic MCT oil. Endopet oils are available in potencies for all breed sizes (including cats) and are most commonly used for our pets to help relieve inflammation, anxiety, aches and pains, etc.

Endopet Hip and Joint Chewables contain 2.5mg of CBD per tablet and are enhanced with MSM and glucosamine for joint health. The chewables are flavored with beef broth for a taste your pets will love.
Our Endopet CBD oils come in various sizes and strengths. Like humans, each pet will process CBD differently. We recommend starting with the suggested serving by weight then going up from there as necessary in order to find what serving is best for your furry friend.

Cats: up to 20 lbs
Small Breed: up to 20 lbs
Medium Breed: 20-50 lbs
Large Breed: 50+ lbs
The best option is to get the oil directly in your pet's mouth. However, touching the dropper to your pet's mouth can encourage bacterial growth inside of the product so we recommend cleaning the dropper after each use.

You can also add the CBD oil to your pet's food or a treat. We do not recommend letting the food/treat sit for an extended period of time as this can degrade the efficacy of the product. We also do not recommend adding the oil to your pets water.

If you have a particularly picky pet, you can try using our CBD isolate instead. This comes in a tasteless powder form and is over 99% CBD with no added ingredients. Isolate can be added directly to your pet's food and/or used to make homemade treats.
Our Endopet oils are good for 18 months after production and our Endopet chewables are good for 24 months after production.

We recommend storing your Endopet products upright in room temperature, tightly sealed and away from direct sunlight.

We ship to many countries around the world, including Australia and the UK. We are constantly updating shipping procedures to meet ever-changing regulations! If you can select your country from our shipping drop down, we will ship! It is the customers responsibility to understand their country's laws regarding CBD.

At this time, we are unable to ship to the following countries:
Afganistan, Bhutan, Brunei, Canada, Cuba, French Guiana, Guadaloupe, Iran, Israel, Japan, Laos, Libya, Malaysia, Martinique, Mayotte, Mongolia, New Zealand, Reunion, Russia, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste, Turkmenistan, Yemen
Domestic orders are processed and shipped within 3 business days, excluding holidays. Delivery can take 7-10 business days, though most packages arrive quicker than this!

International orders can take 3-5 business days to process as some packages may require additional documentation. Once shipped, international orders can take 3-5 weeks for delivery depending on area.

Please note: Package arrival may be delayed during the holiday season (November-January). Domestic packages can take up to 1-2 weeks and international packages can take up to 6-8 weeks during this time.
We offer free shipping for domestic orders over $100. Please select this option from the drop down menu at checkout. (Order minimum $100 after discounts applied, before shipping cost is added)

Domestic orders under $100 are a flat rate of $9 to ship. International orders are a flat rate of $22.50 to ship. Any potential customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
Expedited shipping is available for domestic orders only. To request expedited rates, please place your order over the phone at 303-674-5759. Additional charges may apply. Expedited delivery dates cannot be guaranteed. Weekends and holidays must also be taken into account from ship date.

Expedited shipping is not available for international orders at this time.

Tracking is sent via email once your order has been processed to ship. You can also find tracking for your order by logging into your website account (icon at top right screen), and finding tracking details under Orders > Recent Orders.
It is not uncommon for tracking to show that a package has been delivered, only for the package to arrive a few days after. Please allow 7 business days from marked delivery, and contact your local post office as you may be able to retrieve the package sooner.

If you are receiving an error message please check that all information is filled out correctly and completely (addresses, zip codes, CVV codes, etc.). We recommending calling your bank before trying again, and to not attempt the transaction too many times as this may prevent you from being able to order online.

Many coupon codes are limited to one use per customer. Most coupon codes cannot be combined with other sales & specials. We limit one coupon code per order.

If you have had a failed order using a coupon code, the website will think you have already used this code. Please visit the orders page in your online account, cancel the order, and then attempt your order again.

    Find the products you want to have auto-shipped, and select the frequency under Subscribe & Save before adding to your cart. Once you have all the products you would like to receive as a subscription, proceed through checkout! You will need an account to place a subscribe and save order.
    You select the frequency to ship your order- either every 2 weeks, every 1 month, or every 2 months. Your order will process on the same date each month, and ship within 1-2 business days!

    You can check tracking and order status in your website account by going to Subscriptions>Orders, or checking recent orders for your most recent recurring order.
    While all subscription orders automatically receive a 10% discount, one additional coupon code can be added to a new subscription order. Any additional coupon codes will not be recurring on the following subscription orders.

    If anything in your order is damaged, please include a photo of the product along with your order ID (found on your packing slip) for faster service.

    If your package is missing a product, it may have been on backorder when you placed your order. This will be indicated below the product description, when you click to add to cart.

    All available products will ship immediately, backordered products will ship separately via priority mail when back in stock. You will receive emailed shipping notices.
    Our customers have 30 days from receipt of their order to initiate a return. Unopened and unused products may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Please see our Return Process below. If you have any questions about whether your product is eligible for return, please feel free to email us at support@purespectrumcbd.com.

    We will only accept returns and refunds from purchases made on www.purespectrumcbd.com.
    We are not able to accept returns on any opened or used products.

    Return Process Once you have initiated the return process we will email you a label for you to print out, place on your package, and ship back to us at no cost to you.

    Upon receipt of the returned product we will initiate a refund to your payment source.
